I had a great time painting with these young painters at the Mira Mesa community park. They were so fun and funny as they painted their summer fishies. I received new students today and I decided I wanted to divert from our class a little to directly paint something using values and to see what level my new students were in. I had a lot of fun with them and enjoyed their good effort.
This was a super fun event at Green Flash Brewery in Mira Mesa that I call Beer and Brushes! This group class we did some guided drawing and used ink to draw our favorite animals. We also used patterns to fill in the animal drawings that we made. We didn’t finish, but we will continue next class and go on to do more painting.
