Finished this painting for a client today which will be a gift for his dad. His dad is terminally ill and this will be his last Christmas. Since I was entrusted with this project I pulled an all nighter to have it ready in time for Christmas and made sure that it would be a present that would be appreciated/special. I was kind of thinking a lot of sad thoughts before and I was a bit dazed from the lack of sleep, but I felt extra grateful after I was done. I guess I was getting stuck dwelling in the past, but there’s at least time to appreciate now and whatever good bits of time are ahead. Merry Christmas.
