We did some independent study where I gave some freedom in terms of subject matter to my young artists.  I hovered around and critiqued their work as they were creating so that we can have eyes in our way of working.  I wanted to develop our strengths and fix our weaknesses (since my students are young it’s usually just minor proportion issues) in our process.
