I traveled to Scripps to teach a group of young artists how to paint while under the nice San Diego sunshine.  I taught them a few techniques and in the end all of their paintings turned out great!

It’s so important for children to have their social and emotional needs met and I was happy that they got a bit via our painting class!  One of my students that day mentioned that it was her first time painting like this and she thought it was fancy.  I thought that that was so funny and I am glad they felt cool while basically we were learning, focusing, building our dexterity while gaining some techniques.

Art is very much like the good tasting vitamin that children think is candy. ?
