I finally finished a project today that my art students (tk-5th) and I was working on before covid… I was working on this piece while the 5th graders were having a distance graduation and finished it with helicopters circling in the air. I was so happy and privileged working as an art teacher six days a week to a great diverse population in my community. There is so much pain in the world right now, but I have hope that we can rebuild together someday.
