My student Jordan and I set up at Balboa Park to paint some plein-air.  Jordan was traveling alone and came to do a lot of activities such as falconry and painting.  So we dove into our work and I taught him techniques while guiding him through the scene in front of us.  It was pretty neat seeing dancers, buskers, and all kinds of people passing by.  We even got some people stopping to chat or take pictures.  In the end we ran out of light and achieved a good finish.
