Bagani are typically without their armor unless they are at war and prefer their mobility because of frequently traveling long distances on sea and land. They do keep their spear and blade with them wherever they travel and some are known to take their round shields for added protection. Their headbands and the cords they wear on their limbs show what rank and what chief they fight for. Their tunics and trousers vary from plain cloth, silk, and decorated fabrics using gold; the bagani’s clothes display the individual’s wealth and the province of where the clothes were made.
