This is another painting of a Dark Templar in progress.  I’m just putting the finishing touches, a rock here for balance, a psi blade here for dramatic effect.  I feel the ending (90%) of a painting is a crucial point where you can push it and make it really good or totally close off the painting and it may take on a stiff and contrived look or feel.
